Why Project Lazon

Customer first.
Better handshakes.

Customers are who Project Lazon helps most. By definition, that means helping the shops that help them.

Project Lazon starts with the person who owns the ride. It helps preserve vehicle context, organize history and documents, prepare for service, ask better questions, and carry useful information into the next real-world conversation.

The problem

Real vehicle ownership is fragmented.

Records live in different inboxes and systems. Families own more than one kind of ride. Service needs happen after hours. Shops get busy. Customers change facilities. Important context gets lost, repeated, shortened, or misunderstood.

Project Lazon is being built so useful vehicle context can stay with the owner instead of disappearing every time the relationship, location, or software system changes.

The idea

Start with the owner and the ride.

The customer keeps a persistent garage and service context. When help is needed, Project Lazon can organize what is known, preserve what the customer actually said, surface what still needs clarification, and help prepare a cleaner handoff to the shop.

The destination can be a Project Lazon Connected shop or a shop that has never signed up. The customer should still be able to prepare and share useful information.

Reactive + proactive

Help before, during, and after the visit.

  • Organize concerns, estimates, repair orders and service records.
  • Prepare customer context before arrival.
  • Preserve history and deferred-work context over time.
  • Help identify what information or action is still blocking a visit from being ready.
  • Support maintenance, record and household-garage continuity when evidence supports it.
  • Help customers find a service location whose declared capabilities fit the work.
Why shops benefit

A better-prepared customer is easier to help.

Good shops spend real time rebuilding information: Who is the customer? Which vehicle? What exactly happened? What has already been tried? What records exist? What matters most today?

Project Lazon is designed to reduce that repetition and give participating shops a clearer pre-arrival picture, while letting each physical location state what it actually services and what work it currently wants more of.

Where Project Lazon fits

Not another shop system. Not another repair marketplace.

There are strong products that help shops run their businesses, dealerships prepare their own customers before visits, and marketplaces help consumers shop or transact for repair work. Those are real, useful categories. Project Lazon is being built around a different starting point: the owner and the ride.

Shop systems start with the shop.Project Lazon is designed to work alongside the systems a shop already uses instead of requiring the customer relationship to begin there.
Marketplaces start with the transaction.Project Lazon helps carry context and preparation without taking a percentage of the customer's repair order or routing the repair payment.
Project Lazon starts with continuity. The owner's garage, records, concerns and service context can remain useful when the customer changes shops or chooses a location that has never joined Project Lazon.

Project Lazon continually reviews the market. Other products overlap individual features; we do not claim that every capability is unique. Our focus is the customer-owned, cross-shop architecture and the boundaries that keep it aligned.

What keeps the model aligned

Project Lazon is built around boundaries.

The customer chooses the shop.Project Lazon can help with fit and context without selling paid placement as quality.
Connected means participation, not endorsement.A public listing does not mean the shop participates, and participation does not mean Project Lazon declares that shop better than another.
Evidence is not a diagnosis.Project Lazon can organize facts, history, tradeoffs and questions without pretending to replace professional inspection or judgment.
Repair money stays between customer and shop.Project Lazon does not route repair payments, deposits, financing, escrow or shop payouts.
Paid support cannot buy influence.Shop subscription, voluntary support, or future paid Project Lazon services cannot purchase ranking, recommendation influence or preferential treatment.
The free customer core matters.Project Lazon is designed so ordinary operations can be funded by shop subscriptions. Voluntary support and other customer-side money are treated as growth or reserve dollars, not money required to keep the core alive.
The larger vision

One relationship layer across the ownership journey.

Project Lazon is not trying to replace every shop-management system or become another repair marketplace. It is being built as connective infrastructure between the person who owns the ride and the businesses that help keep it moving.

Real Life People, Helping People in Real Life.

Built to keep improving: the product, research and operating model continue to be tested against real-world use. Public claims should remain evidence-based and current as the market changes.
